When you ask someone to do your family portrait or to take pictures of your child, you are trusting them to capture you and your memories on film.  It is important to consider that decision carefully.  If the photographer does not feel a connection with you and your wishes, you will almost certainly be disappointed with your family portrait.

We are located in Portland, Oregon and are selective about the assignments we take.  We are always happy to consult with you about your child's photograph or family portrait at no charge.  We want you to be thrilled with your pictures and convinced that we caught “that look” or posture that doesn’t often show up in photos and you always have a choice of color or black and white photography.  We will:

3. please you with the quality of our work so that you will use us again & recommend us to others.

We work hard to capture your memories- not ours.  We will take the time to get to know you and what you have in mind.  We will give you our best, caring, focused attention not a rushed, trite, or routine photo.  Natural and personal photos is our passion.  We will do our best to set the standard for portrait photography.  If you are not sure exactly what you have in mind, we can help with a few suggestions.   

Portrait Photography

A shoot at your location!

$50 for a 30-60 minute shoot (+ expenses if out of local area)

A newborn at the hospital, kids in the backyard, a family portrait in the Japanese Garden, a special event, you and your special dog at the river….it’s your choice.  We would be happy to help you find an appropriate location for those special pictures.  Portland is a beautiful city with virtually unlimited settings for your portrait photography and we'd love to help you find the one that's right for you.  

Typically, we will shoot 50 - 150 photos.  We will then edit and post your photos on the web and send you an order name to enter in the box below so you can access them.  You can then review your photos at your leisure and simply order the prints you want; we'll take care of the rest.   (See price list for these prints.)

To make it even more convenient, you may share your order name with friends and family so that they can order prints of their own.
